The Ergo Baby Carrier was designed by a mom. After trying many baby slings, baby backpacks and various baby carriers, she found elements were missing to make carrying her son really functional. With the help of many moms, their own experiences, and feedback about their needs, the design was developed. Through word of mouth the Ergo has now become the most sought after soft baby carrier on the market.

The Ergo Baby Carrier's ergonomic design supports a correct sitting position for the baby’s hip, pelvis, and spine growth. It disperses most of the baby's weight between the hips and thighs, which helps to eliminate compression of the spine when hanging by the crotch, as in other commercial carriers. The Ergo also balances the baby's weight to parents' hips and shoulders, making it healthier for the parent than wearing a baby sling. It will help keep your body aligned and alleviate back pain so you can carry your
baby longer. You’ll be amazed how light your baby feels! Parents say they have never felt so comfortable carrying their babies, who are safely attached to their body. It can be worn on the front or back (both shown above) or on the hip (shown below).

The back carry is great for hiking and gardening, housework and shopping, traveling and giving active parents the freedom to go with their baby attached. Worn on the front, it is perfect for nursing and simply holding your baby close to your heart.
This carrier is hands down my top recommendation for kids over 20 lbs and after about 7 months of age.

Washing instructions: use mild detergent on a gentle cycle and dry until the seams are slightly damp. Spot wash when needed, and do not wash too frequently. Frequent washing or harsh detergents cause 100% cotton to break down faster. |

Front Pouch
This is my favorite Ergo accessory! The pouch attaches to the carrier with velcro. It has several zipper pockets to organize your things, a hook for your key chain and a cell phone pocket. It can also be used as a shoulder bag or fanny pack, or is small enough to be carried as a wallet inside another bag. Dimensions are 7" long by 5" high by 2" deep. Comes in all four colors and Organic Denim.
